Is a deposit required?

Lillian Rose Beauty & Bridal receives quite a few hair/makeup inquiries every month & dates fill up rapidly, therefore we require a deposit of 50% of your (bride) total day of services to secure us for your wedding day.

Do you charge to travel?

No, we do not travel for weddings booked within 20 miles of our location (Zipcode 34232). Travel fees will be assessed for every 10 miles after this. 

Is a trial important?

In our professional opinion, it is very important for a bride to utilize a hair and makeup trial. The hair and makeup trial is used to help "ease" any butterflies you may have about how you will look in your wedding day debut! This also helps you to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have prior to the light "chaos" that may created on your big day.

How early should I book a trial?

We suggest booking a trial about 3-4 months in advance. We find that most of our brides like to use this session for engagement photos/ bridal showers/ or bachelorette weekends! Also, this time frame gives our brides enough time to properly assess their hair and makeup look and offer any changes/suggestions with ample time to prepare a re-trial or feel comfortable with the look. 

What is the difference between "every day" makeup and "bridal glam?"

Yes, your every day makeup is flawless! However, on your wedding day, it is very important to "amp up the look," to not only show up in photos, but to separate you and everyone in the crowd!

What is the difference between regular makeup & airbrush makeup?

Airbrush

A light-weight makeup applied through an air gun machine that produces a thin, even layer of makeup and creates a very matte finish.

How it’s used: A small amount of a very thin makeup designed for air brush use is put into a chamber of a gun. When the machine is turned on and the gun trigger pulled, a light spray of makeup comes out of the gun in a fine mist.The fine mist of color covers the skin and gives the appearance of a flawless complexion. Your MUA will mix foundation colors for a perfect blend to match your skin tone. Since it’s such a fine mist your true skin tone shows through which makes it look more natural and not so much caked on. It will not transfer onto clothing, In professional photographs it looks amazing! Airbrush makeup is waterproof (bring on those tears!) and it won’t go anywhere until you wash it off. Be sure you don’t wipe away sweat/tears and instead ‘blot’. This will help guarantee your 16 hours of wear. 

Standard

A Liquid, cream, or pressed powder that is usually applied with a sponge, brush or finger tips. Traditional makeup comes in the widest variety of any other makeup, with every shade available. It’s also the most versatile of all the makeup; it can be as basic as a sheer tint of coverage, or combined with other properties to create a makeup that targets specific problems. 

How it’s used: This particular makeup is the only makeup that, given the appropriate formula is chosen, can be used in any situation at any given time. It can be applied many different ways, from brush methods used with thicker foundations, to finger tips used for light and well blended applications. 
This makeup is typically not waterproof, will rub off on clothing and will need the occasional touchups throughout the evening. If applied incorrectly you can get a sloppy cake-like finish. Any makeup with SPF will make your face white in pictures. Traditional makeup is known for being the most versatile. It can be used as a simple, basic sheer tint of coverage or used to target specific needs. 

How long does the process of hair and makeup take?

For bridal hair we allot 60 minutes & for bridal makeup we also allot 60 minutes. For everyone else in the bridal party (MOH, bridesmaids, MOB, MOG) we allot about 20-30 minutes for hair & the same time for makeup. 

How many people can you accommodate?

As many people as you want to have with you on your big day! We usually have 1 artist per 7-8 services. If we have to shorten a timeline, an additional artist fee of no less than $100.00 will be assessed.

Is there a minimum?

During Saturdays & Sundays in wedding season there is a $500 minimum. However, we are flexible with advance notice. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check & invoices paid through our invoice system. Only cash and check are accepted on wedding/ event day.
